Environmental product declarations published

Sustainable development is the only way to improve the business activity. We have taken further important steps in our sustainability work by examining the environmental impacts as a part of the Life Cycle Assessment, LCA, for three of our products. As a result of this assessment, we have obtained the Environmental Product Declarations, EPD, for these products. You can download the EPD’s for your use from IBU’s (Institut Bauen und Umwelt) website https://ibu-epd.com/en/published-epds/.

LCA is a scientific method for assessing environmental impacts associated with all the stages of the life cycle of a product, process, or service. The aim is to document and improve the overall environmental profile of the product.

The assesments were done complying the following standards EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, also following IBU’s general and product group related requirements for technical textiles.
