Screen and Curtain Fabrics for Protection and Space Division

Scantarp’s screen and curtain fabrics are designed to be used in wide range of applications such as:

  • Wind protection while still allowing air circulation in ventilated areas

  • Room dividers for large spaces such as warehouses, gyms and sport halls

  • Anti-slip surfaces, for example under gym mats, to improve safety

Depending on the product, light transmission through the material ranges from 25% to 50%.

Available with Antistatic and Phthalate-Free Options

Our screens and curtains are available with antistatic properties, which help prevent the buildup of static electricity and reduce the attraction of dust and dirt.

We also offer phthalate-free versions, making them suitable for use in environments like school gyms. Phthalate-free products are marked with the “PF” label in the product name.

Flame-Retardant Materials

Our screen and curtain materials are also available with flame-retardancy, meeting the EN 13501-1 standard with a B-s2, d0 fire rating. Flame-retardant products are marked with the “FR” label. In case of fire, these technical fabrics will not drip burning material and will self-extinguish when the material is no longer in contact with the flame.

A Durable Solution for Long-Term Use

Our fabrics are built to withstand long-term use and heavy wear. Thanks to their durable design, they can last for decades. They are easy to handle and install, and their stable structure ensures they will not stretch or lose their shape over time.

To make handling even easier, the surface of some fabrics is finished during manufacturing with a lacquer coating, either with an acrylic or PVDF-based lacquer.

Regular cleaning and maintenance help extend the lifetime of the fabric and keep it looking its best. For care instructions, refer to the cleaning and maintenance guidelines for PVC- and PVC/PU-coated fabrics.
